I recently read this article about people getting in trouble for posting things on Facebook or other social networks.  People post personal information about what they did this past weekend.  People also posted photos about what they do on weekends involving drugs and alchohol.  Some people were looking for jobs had their Facebook pages checked out by the employers hiring.  One fourth of the people were rejected right away because of the content that they had on their Facebook page.  There was also an instance where an ex-wife had a restraining order on her ex-husband.  This ex-husband created a page on facebook, and he had an automatic friend request sent to everyone on his email list.  She was on his email list so she received a friend request from him.  She then called the police and he was put in jail for 10 days.

I find alot of this stuff ridiculous but that’s what happens when noobs post their whole life on these social networks like facebook and myspace.  A general rule for me regarding to posting on facebook and twitter is don’t post it if you wouldn’t want your parents or teachers to see it.  If you wouldn’t want them to see it then it’s probably not appropriate for you to post.  25% of people are rejected a job because of what they are puting up on these social networks.  This is a very sad statistic and people have to use some common sense on what they are posting.  Some people have to realize that what they post is open to the world to see and read.  I also am trying to figure out why people would post photos of them drinking.  The only reason I can think of is to look cool but they’re just noobs in my opinion.  The situation with the ex wife and husband is a joke.  I don’t see how you could go to jail for 10 days for sending your ex wife who has a restriction order on you a friend request on facebook.  The guy didn’t even intend to send the request, it just sent automatically because she was on his email list.  In conclusion people have to be more smarter about posting on these social networks.  They have to understand what they post is open to anyone including the police.  I’m not the smartest apple on the tree but i still have enough common sense not to post stuff that could get you in trouble.  So please, for your own good don’t be a n00b and use some common sense.

My top 5 list is going to be of my favorite music artists.  I enjoy listening to music and i have 1027 songs on my itouch.  I listen to all types of music ranging from techno to country to rap. 

1. Eminem-  Eminem aka slim shady is my favorite artist.  I have 65 songs by him on my ipod.  Some of my favorites include I Tried So Hard remix, When I’m Gone, Where’d You Go remix, and Still Remember. 

2. Skillet-  I have 13 songs of them on my ipod.  My favorites include Awake and Alive, Comatose, Monster, and Those Nights.

3. Lonestar- I have 6 songs of them on my ipod.  Lonestar registers at #3 on the list mostly due to the fact that they have the songs I’m Already There and Amazed.

4. Owl City- I have 17 songs of them on my ipod.  Favorites include West Coast Friendship, Vanilla Twilight and Hello Seattle.  NO Fireflies!

5. Taylor Swift- I have 8 songs of her on my ipod.  I can’t believe I have Taylor Swift on this list but my favorites include Speak Now, I’d Lie, and Fifteen.

Honorable mentions include Kid Cudi, Lil Wayne, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, and T.I

This post is also referring to challenge #3.  The two countries i’m going to ask questions about are Australia and Canada.  The first country i’m going to ask questions about is Austrailia.  First why are you called the land down under?  Also how is the whether there?  Do you get any snow?  What are some of the popular sports you have besides cricket and water polo?  What is the population?  What food is often eaten there?  How cool is the great barrier reef?  Very!    How fast are kangeroos?  How long do panda bears sleep because i heard they sleep like 15 hours a day is this true?  Now moving forward to Canada ehh?  Why do canadians always say eh?  Does your country ever do anything besides fish because I have never heard anything about you guys.  I know the fishing is good there so what kind of fish are often caught?  Also what kind of food do you often eat?  What do you like to do for fun and entertainment?  That’s all I have for now, over and out.

This post is from challange problem #3.  If you were to come and visit Iowa you would have to stay for decades if you wanted to see all the great features that it has!  Not only does our wonderful state have hogs, cows, beans, and corn but it also has many historical places and buildings.  If you enjoy sports, I would highly encourage you to check out an Iowa Hawkeyes football game in Iowa City.   Football is big in Iowa and the Hawkeyes are currently ranked #15 in the nation.  The capital of Iowa is Des Moines and i would suggust checking out the capital building.  The capital building has actual gold on the top and will teach you alot about the history of the hawkeye state.  For all you ice cream eaters Iowa is the place to be.  Lemars Iowa has a Blue Bunny factory and produces millions of quarts of ice cream a year so I would look into that if that’s something that in interests you.  You won’t be dissapointed with their amazing bunny tracks.  If roller coasters are for you head on over to Altoona Iowa.  Here is located Iowa’s best amusement park.  This would be a good place to take your kids if you’re looking for a good time.  If corn floats your boat, just open your eyes it’s everywhere you can’t miss it.  I’m not going to lie, if you’re looking to come to Iowa just to visit I would change your plans because it’s not that entertaining but be sure to catch a hawks game!

It’s that time of the year again which means playoff baseball.  Last week the Minnesota Twins clinched the A.L central title for the 6th time in the past 9 years.  Since clinching, the Twins have been stumbling, posting a 2-6 record but look to pick up some momentum going into the playoffs.  Injured Mauer, Morneau, Hardy, Nathan, and Thome did not help the cause.  As the regular season is coming to an end this weekend, the Twins are preparing for the playoffs and getting everyone healthy.  Lefty Francisco Liriano is set to pitch game 1 next Wednesday followed by Carl Pavano and Brian Duensing.  The Twins will have home field advantage in round 1 and will play the loser of the AL East which will be either the Yankees or Rays.  Many Twins fans’ would like to play the Rays because history shows the Twins have not faired well against the high enders from New York.  I personally would like to play the Yankees in round 1 and just beat them in the newly built Target Field.  My biggest concern in the postseason is pitching from start to bottom.  The Twins starters’ need to pitch well followed up by the bullpen.  I’m not a huge fan of closer Matt Capps but I’m hoping he can get the job done in the playoffs.  Their will be enough thunder in the lineup to produce runs even against the highly paid C.C Sabathia of the Yankees so pitching is key.  The Twins may not have Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez, Mariano Rivera, Yankee Stadium, a 204 million dollar payroll, or obnexious fans but they do have the talent to make a run at a ring this October.  Game 1 next Wednesday in Minnesota, tune in!

I am currently trying not to get last in the blogging challenge, so that is why I’m typing this wonderful post.  Their are alot of great reason as to why you should be checking out my blog daily.  I will try to post some funny things to keep the blogging action some what interesting.  Also by checking out my blog, you can stay up to date on myself and the sports teams that i am following.   Stay tuned for more awesome posts in the near future!

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time on my lab top and surfing the web.  Alot of times I will be listening to music and trying to find some new sweet songs.  I have found that youtube, 104.7, and itunes top 100 are very good sources.  When not looking for music, I might be on patneshek.com.  Pat Neshek is a pitcher for the Minnesota Twins and he has his own message board that talks about autograph collecting.  I enjoy collecting autographs so I spend alot of my time reading on this message board.  Me being a big sports fan, a majority of the time i spend on the computer has to do with sports.  Espn.com, mlb.com, nfl.com, and si.com are a few sites that i frequently visit to keep up to date in the sports word.  I am also a huge Minnesota Twins, Minnesota Vikings, and Iowa Hawkeyes fan so i visit their team sites alot and read articles on how their seasons are going.  While football season is just beginning, the Twins are wrapping up their season and are about to clinch a playoff spot so I have been spending alot of time watching videos and reading articles on the Twins.  Youtube is also a major hit for this kid.  It seems like everytime on youtube i find a cool song or a really funny video of someone doing something stupid.  The newest youtube find was the Bed Intruder Song.  Last but not least facebook and twitter.  I enjoy roaming facebook and occasionally tweetin it up on twitter.  In conclusion, I spend alot of time on the computer weather its listening to music, reading up on sports, or tweetin it up on twitter.
